White Wines

2007 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
100% varietal
Starting with aromas of butterscotch, pear, peaches, lemongrass, and hibiscus – highlighted by hints of oak, fig, and toasted nuts, this wine has a creamy mouthfeel with rich flavors of apple, pear, vanilla, and peaches. Ending with a little spice and long, smooth, buttery finish, this Chardonnay is a perfect match for cream based dishes, butternut squash, home baked bread, poultry, seafood, and veal. For a delightful treat, pair this with apple pie topped with whipped cream… To be enjoyed for years to come!. Drink now through 2015.
Red Wines

2007 Cabernet Franc
80% Cabernet Franc, 9% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 5% Tannat
This is a medium bodied red wine with a nose that comes alive with aromas of bright berries, red currant, and a hit of spice. The well rounded tannins on the palate are accompanied with flavors of blueberry, dark cherries, plum and a hint of white pepper. A long finish with hint cocoa and toasted nut, pair it with lamb chops, breaded veal, Mediterranean cuisine, or a dark chocolate raspberry mousse.

2006 Scarlet Oak Red
45% Syrah, 45% Mourvèdre, 10% Tannat
Scarlet Oak Red is Naked Mountain Vineyard’s Rhone style blend. The 2006 vintage is unique to its own, starting with aromas of dark cherry, mint, parsley, raspberry, a bit of toastiness, and oak, hence the name. The taste of almonds, dark cherry, blueberry, and strawberry rises on the front of the palate. This wine finishes with honey dew, vanilla and blueberry and a smooth tannin structure. Best served with roasted meats or game, lamb chops, mole sauce, smoked chili, gourmet pizza, heavily seasoned Indian cuisine, hard cheeses, dark berries and chocolate.
2010 “Make Me Blush”
75% Cabernet Franc, 25% Mourvedre
A Rosé of Cabernet Franc and Mourvedre, our “Make Me Blush” begins With a nose of strawberry and hints of spearmint. This fun summer wine delights the palate with butsts of melon and strawberry, smoothly ending with sour cherries and cream – the perfect pair for a summer picnic or strawberry shortcake.

2008 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
100% varietal
Bursting with apple and buttered toast, the hint of acidity layered over subtle oak makes this the perfect wine to pair with many foods. It’s not only great for mac-n-cheese or a roasted chicken, but this vintage of our award-winning Barrel Fermented Chardonnay is a great sipping wine.

2007 Merlot
85% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 4% Tannat, 3% Petit Verdot
Offering an array of aromas including blackberry jam, vanilla, currant, and a hint of oak, the 2007 Merlot is a wonderful medium-bodied red wine. A lively front palate dances with dark cherry,and blackberry followed with a gentle woody nuttiness. Pair with meat sauces or dishes containing cumin, paprika, or cayenne pepper. A bit of spice pairs nicely with a sip of our earthy Merlot.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Tannat, 8% Merlot
Beaming with scents from cherries to spice, this supple medium bodied red wine start with red currant, raspberries, and a hint of earthiness. Pair this wine with beef fajitas, grilled lamb, or aged cheeses to accentuate the smoky, soft finish.
