2006-BF-Chardonnay

2011 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay

100% varietal
Golden Delicious apple layered over buttered toast and subtle oak makes this the perfect wine to pair with many foods. Finishing with lemon zest and vanilla cream, this is the perfect vintage of our award-winning Barrel Fermented Chardonnay to pair with a Stilton and candied walnut salad or poached pears. Drink now until 2016.

2007-BF-Chardonnay

2012 Viognier

100% varietal
Starting with a nose of apple, pear, and vanilla, this second vintage of Naked Mountain Viognier was grown just up the street at Hollin Farm. Slightly tropical with hints of peach and spice delight the palate which finishes with a creamy citrus. Serve this wine with fish or chicken in a cream sauce or a hard cheese.

Chardonnay/Riesling

78% Chardonnay, 22% Riesling
With a distinct nose of pear and peach blossoms, this much anticipated vintage of our Chardonnay/Riesling doesn’t disappoint. Full of hibiscus, honeysuckle, and ripe tree fruit, this semi-sweet wine is the perfect spring or summer sipping wine. Pair this with a deck and the sunset for a perfect ending to any day. Also great for spicy Thai food or a fruit salad.

Catamount

2011 Catamount Run Red

83% Cabernet Franc, 17% Merlot
Modeled after the famous wines of Beaujolais, this light-bodied red wine is the second vintage of its kind here at Naked Mountain. Starting with ripe raspberry and fig, this wine is the perfect match for blackberry pie, veal, or even a charcuterie. Enjoy this vintage as is finished with lovely cranberry and smooth light berry.

2008 Cabernet Franc

90% Cabernet Franc, 7% Tannat, 3% Petit Verdot
This is a medium bodied red wine with a nose that comes alive with aromas of raspberry jam and plums. The well rounded tannins on the palate are accompanied with flavors of dark cherries, cranberry and a hint of clove. A long finish with hint soft oak and spice, pair it with lamb chops, smoked sausage, char-broiled ribeye, or a dark chocolate raspberry mousse.

41% Syrah, 41% Mourvèdre, 18% Tannat
Scarlet Oak Red is Naked Mountain Vineyard’s Rhone style blend. This vintage returning to the blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Tannat, dances across the nose with lively spice and gentle earth notes. Starting smooth with undertones of spice and soft berries, this wine finished with a velvety, well-integrated tannin structure. Pair with vinison, Brunswick stew, or roasted root vegetables.

Raptor Red

Cross-vintage blend
Spicy and earthy on the nose, this Raptor Red blend is a medium bodied red wine that delights the palate with raspberry, cherries, and anise. Well structured, with good tannins, enjoy the lingering cocoa and toasted nut notes with Mediterranean foods or chocolate-raspberry mousse.

2012 Old Vine Riesling

100% Varietal
All the fruit for this wine is grown here at Naked Mountain on some of the oldest vines in Virginia. This original Riesling planting helps this wine develop a delightful nose of peaches, apricots, and hints of wildflower. With 5% residual sugar, this late-harvest styled wine is the perfect addition to any cheese plate or peach sorbet. Sold in 375ml bottles.
